    Sorry to all the people who believe in Ellenberger’s hype, but he’ll never be able to beat the upper echelon of the WW division. NEVER. “But he has finished 22 out of 26 fights! So he could beat GSP & Diaz & Condit & Koscheck!” No… sorry to burst your bubble, but he has too many holes in his game to beat the top tier fighters. Diaz would send him home looking worse than BJ Penn, GSP would pick him apart & jab him to death, Koscheck would knock him out, & Condit already beat him.

    I was starting to become a fan after Ellenberger knocked Shields out… but now Ellenberger is talking mad shit about Diaz, so fuck him. He said “Diaz’s slap boxing is a joke, if he tried that with me I’d put him to sleep. Where I come from if you fought like he does then you’d get your ass kicked.” Mother fucker, you’re from NEBRASKA!!! Diaz would wreck Ellenberger just like he has with every single one of his opponents who doesn’t wrestle-fuck him to a decision. Diaz would fuck Ellenberger up!

    that was the weirdest KO I’ve ever seen. Shields has to go back to middleweight. he’s just not the same at welterweight. first he barely beats kampmann, loses to GSP, and now this? no disrespect to ellenberger but shields is much better than this. go back to 185 jake

    Sheilds isn’t hype he beat Daley, lawler, HENDO, among others and last win his Kampmann. All which are better then Ellenberger. The first 3 are beasts, one a legend. Gsp beat him the way he’s been beating people… holding them down if their not a good wreslter, or keeping it standing if their Monsta on the ground like Sheild’s is. Sheild’s can beat anyone in the so called “top level” as you say but also can lose, like anyone can. Also on a note if Gsp fought like Diaz did he would lose a lot

    Everyone jump on the Ellenberger hype-train because he beat Shields. He also lost to Rick Story, Condit, and Jay Heiron. He also got embarrassed on the ground by Rocha, of Rocha could strike, Ellenberger would have lost. He only fights cans and when he doesn’t, he loses. I have never believed the Shields hype either, can’t handle top competition. He may be a good grappler, but this is MMA.

    @CLOVERCITYY15 I’m just being logical and honest, I think Ellenberger is top 5 in the division, I think he’s the biggest threat to GSP but I also think he’s been exposed in many, many ways and hasn’t shown me he’s improved in those ways, granted he hasn’t had to I guess. Knocking out Shields doesn’t make me think he has good striking, good power? yes. Taking Condit down doesn’t make me feel he has good wrestling, though he’s been taken down a lot. So much to improve on, really.

    @CLOVERCITYY15 Carlos Condit did beat Jake Ellenberger and John Howard did outstrike Jake Ellenberger and Carlos Eduardo Rocha did out grappler Jake Ellenberger and Carlos Condit did out fight Jake Ellenberger and Rick Story did out wrestle Jake Ellenberger. He’s facing Diego Sanchez next, should be a great test for him, from there he goes to a number 1 contender fight I’m sure of it. He has a lot to improve upon, but he has so much potential, but like I said so much to improve.
